• Why would I need to change the
registrant? You would need to change the registrant (ownership) of your
domain name when you sell or surrender your domain name to another
person/organization.

registrant? The registrant change fee is $20, which adds an additional year to the
existing registration term. There are no other fees.
• Who is responsible for the fee? The current registrant, new registrant, or another individual
can make the payment for registrant change. Unpaid registrant change
request will not be processed.
